About
About The VILLA PANORAMA
A serene, exclusive place on Symi to connect with those you love, and re-discover the beauty of the world and those simple but elusive pleasures, the heart of true luxury, that seem to be forgotten in the hurry of our urban lives. Cloister yourselves and enjoy Mediterranean meals on the patio overlooking Pedi valley and bay. Stretch out on a sun-bed for "Heliotherapy". The warm water of the Aegean is a five minute scooter ride away for "Thalassotherapy". Explore Symi's ageless Greek hospitality up in the village of Chorio and down in the harbour of Yialos. Wander the herb covered hills. Find "a bank where the wild thyme blows" or join in the vibrant nightlife. Watch the very rich and sometimes famous, arrive and leave on their Super-yachts and feel just a little smug, that you get to stay....
The panoramic view from the terrace takes in the green Pedi valley of Symi and the bay opening into the Aegean lying between Greece and Turkey. The mountains of the Mugla province of Turkey are strung along the horizon and the lights of Bozburun wink at Symi after sundown.
The terrace has an 8 seater dining table, a sunbed area and a 'chill' zone in the Turkish style; all for your exclusive use.
Panorama villa has three bedrooms, one bedroom has a king size bed, one has two single beds which can convert to a king size and the mousandra bedroom room has a double bed and ensuite 1/2 bathroom.. Another full, plus half bathroom inside, are complemented by the unique outside shower allowing a view of Pedi bay. An 6 seater dining table in the kitchen/dining area allows for visits in the cooler months. The Weber ubarbecue and fully equipped kitchen make dining at home as much of a treat as dining out. A large salon comfortably furnished in the local vernacular, is equipped with a flat screen tv, and Bose speaker for your iPod. The Villa is ‘self catering’. However; on arrival, breakfast requirements for your first day and a complimentary bottle of wine and bottled drinking water will be provided. . An 'honesty bar' will be stocked to your requirements.
Set above the valley and bay of Pedi, Panorama’s driveway joins the main North - South road through the island. A 10 minute walk North takes you down the ‘Kalistrata’ to the busy harbor of Yialos. A 20 minute walk East takes you down to the sleepy bay of Pedi. The town bus passes the villa every hour. Private parking is available at the gateway to Panorama if you prefer to hire a car or scooter.
Visitors to Symi arrive on one of the ferries that serve the island. I arrange for transfers and enjoy introducing them to Symi and the villa. I am on hand to advise and arrange excursions and occupy an apartment below the villa
Water is a scarce resource on Symi and guests are urged to use water wisely. All drinking water is bottled.
The reticulation on Symi allows for ONLY human organic waste. It is VERY IMPORTANT to note that no paper may be flushed down the toilet. A plastic lined bin is provided.
